2026 New England Service Scholars Application

The 2026 New England Service Scholarship recognizes graduating high school seniors across New England who are making a meaningful impact through service in their local communities by awarding them a $1,000 college scholarship.

Now through Friday, April 10th we will be accepting New England Service Scholarship applications from graduating high school seniors who will be attending a 2- or 4-year institution in the Fall of 2026.

To apply, students must be graduating from a public high school in one of the six New England states (Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont), demonstrate financial need, and show a strong commitment to making a positive impact in their local communities.

We will award a minimum of 100 applicants with a $1,000 post-secondary scholarship, with winners being notified by Monday, May 18th.

In addition to the scholarship, recipients will engage in a day of programming on Tuesday, July 30 including a "Community Career Panel" focused on community-facing careers, a group service project, and a pregame ceremony on the field at Fenway Park before the 7:10pm game against the Washington Nationals.

Please note:
  • The application will time out overnight so be sure to save as a draft if you need to return to the form later.
  • Red Sox Scholars and family of Red Sox employees are ineligible to apply.
  • It is expected that these applications are completed without the use of AI, and your submitted essays will be reviewed for the use of AI-generated language.
